For some reason, people think that those who sell products and talk about getting customers online are always about getting rich quick.
I get it. That’s why I started my first business online back in the summer of 1999 (more on that later).
I thought that it would be easy money and I’d have thousands flowing into my bank account every day on autopilot.
Well my friend, that scenario is about as real as a rainbow unicorn.
I do have consistent customers coming in every day on autopilot, but it took a ton of work, frustration, and dedication to get there.
…And it still takes a helluva lotta work to keep the ship sailing.
So if you’re not prepared to commit to more effort than you’re expecting, I’m not your guy.
If You Don’t Want to Spend Any Money
You’re Not Going to Enjoy My Stuff.
Once you start going down the “Online Marketing” rabbit hole, you’ll see all kinds of ads and videos about Using Google, Amazon, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Podcasting and all kinds of hype to get more customers for your business.
Does some of it work?
Maybe. In the short term. But if you rely on a random strategy, you don’t have a business. You have a strategy that’s supported by an unattainable gimmick that’s a waste of your time.
If you want to waste time go binge on Netflix. It’s more fun.

Because when I hear someone say, “What’s the easiest way”, what I’m really hearing is, “I don’t want to invest in building a successful business.”
Which actually translates to “I don’t want to work”.
Look, getting customers online (for any business) is hard work. Yes, when you have it all figured out, it can be just like you imagined: Get money while you sleep.
But that takes hard word to create and maintain.

I think I’m supposed to put in my biography somewhere on this page, so here it goes:
Back in 1999, I was a broke college student that needed to make some extra money.
I saw an ad in a magazine about how I could make an extra $500 a week online. I called the phone number and bought a course about how to get Amazon to pay me to send customers to their website.
Also known as: “Affiliate Marketing.”
I followed everything, step-by-step, and only made a few dollars a day, and many days I actually lost money. But I didn’t give up.
I ended up maxing out 3 credit cards and going over $20,000 in debt buying every course out of the back of every magazine I could find.
Just when I was about to give up, I found an affiliate marketing forum online that was full of people talking about how they were making up to $10,000 per day.
I sent about a hundred private messages asking if I could pay them to could teach me what they do.
One guy said yes.
Three days later, I made my first $100 by running a few ads on Google and paying $0.05 per click to send people to companies like Zappos, Disney, and Amazon that paid me over $1.00 per visitor.
I ended up skipping classes because making money on the Internet in my dorm room was way more fun.
Then, I met the love of my life (Chrystal) my 2nd year in college. She went to a different college and when we both knew we were going to be together forever, so she transferred to go to my College so that we could be closer to each other and both of our families.
The year she transferred, I got kicked out for not going to my classes. It’s ok though, because I was making more money in a week than I’d ever make in a year with a degree.
All I did for the next seven years was affiliate marketing.
During this time, I developed my own strategies that I could deploy in any market at any time that could literally 10x the growth of any business.
In 2007, I had one of those “ah ha” moments where I realized that instead of sending customers to other peoples businesses for a commission, why not build my own businesses and send myself customers?
This was a big turning point for me, because this is also the year that Chrystal and I got married and I wanted to make sure I could support her so that she wouldn’t have to work and we could eventually start our family.
After all, I was supposed to be the man of the relationship!
Nervous as hell, I built my first education based website where I charged people $97 per month to teach them all the ways I’ve been getting customers online for big brands for the past 7 years.
And it worked!
From 2007 – 2013, I built several more of these websites in the education space that went on to generate over $25 million in revenue.
Then I started having some fun by going on a little Entrepreneurial binge. For example…
I love gaming.
In 2013, I developed a game for the iPhone called Boomie vs. Pirates that went on to become one of the best-selling games alongside Angry Birds on the App Store.
I love supplements.
In 2015, I built a supplement company that generated just over $420,587 in it’s first year on Amazon.
I love energy drinks.
In 2017, I invented a new type energy drink that already has over 120,000 fans and customers on Facebook without spending a dime on advertising.
I was able to get thousands of customers for these new businesses because I’ve have very specific blueprints on that can be used in any industry.
However, out of all these businesses…
The one I enjoyed most is when I was helping people get more customers online for “their” businesses. It’s much more rewarding.
